I know what you mean my Grandparents got married the second day they knew one another. My Grandpa told my Nana that he was going to pick her up for a date at 7 after he saw her perform the piano at a fund raiser and she said no but he insisted. That night he said he was going to marry her and she laughed and the next day he showed up with a ring and they eloped. They were married for 50 years and were happy till the day my she passed.

I will never forget this couple when i met them they were in their 80's and they said they got married just a month after they met and divorce never crossed their lips and minds. Yes they went through tough times and storms in marriage but they struck thru them. The fire of love was still in their eyes. You have to be commited to weather the bad times as well as celebrate the good times. |
