Timbaland Lyrics

BBC Old Grey Whistle Test 1976With David LindleyKeep a fire burning in your eyePay attention to the open skyYou never know what will be coming downI don't remember losing track of youYou were always dancing in and out of viewI must've thought you'd always be aroundAlways keeping things real by playing the clownNow you're nowhere to be foundI don't know what happens when people dieCan't seem to grasp it as hard as I tryIt's like a song I can hear playing right in my earThat I can't singI can't help listeningI can't help feeling stupid standing 'roundCrying as they ease you down(Alt:crying is the easier down)'Cause I know that you'd rather we were dancingDancing our sorrow away(Right on dancing)No matter what fate chooses to play(There's nothing you can do about it anyway)Just do the steps that you've been shownBy everyone you've ever knownUntil the dance becomes your very ownNo matter how close to yours another's steps have grownIn the end there is one dance you'll do aloneKeep a fire for the human raceLet your prayers go drifting into spaceYou never know will be coming downPerhaps a better world is drawing nearAnd just as easily, it could all disappearAlong with whatever meaning you might have foundDon't let the uncertainty turn you around(The world keeps turning around and around)Go on and make a joyful soundInto a dancer you have grownFrom a seed somebody else has thrownGo on ahead and throw some seeds of your ownAnd somewhere between the time you arrive and the time you goMay lie a reason you were alive but you'll never know

My favorite JB song and that's really saying something. The voice...the piano...the lyrics...the story...everything. About as close to perfect as you can get5 stars

This one reminds me of my sister. Damn it I miss her. She used to make me laugh, she's close to my heart. No song ever brings me to tears like a baby as this does.

Martin Snapp turned me on to Jackson with this song in San Francisco in 1977. He's been my favorite since then. "in the end there is one dance you'll do alone"..there's another line that packs a punch.

"...may lie a reason you were alive, but you'll never know." It's been over three decades now, and that line still gets me every single time.

One of the best singers for this kind of musis. Beautiful voice. Sensitive lyrics. Touching, healing, to a point.

Um, what? JB is not native american at all, his mom was Norwegian.Browne was born in Heidelberg, Germany, where his father, an American serviceman, was stationed. Jackson's mother, Beatrice Amanda (née Dahl), was a Minnesota native of Norwegian ancestry.[2] Browne has three siblings: Roberta "Berbie" Browne who was born in 1946 in Nuremberg, Germany and Edward Severin Browne who was born in 1949 in Frankfurt, Germany. His younger sister, Gracie Browne, was born a number of years later.
The man behind the Timberland lyrics is noticeably diverse. This is especially apparent by the very different singers who perform his songs. It is a fact that all the millions of fans around the world sit up and take notice when their favorite idols perform Timberland lyrics. The words of the songs combined with the genius of Timberland's musical rhythms sound like nothing that has ever been heard before. His arrangements are one hundred percent unique.

This man has left his mark on the world. Millions of people all around the globe regard him as an outright musical genius. It would be hard to find any one who cannot feel the brilliance in the music, as well as the Timbaland lyrics. The lyrics are real and contain an element of extraordinary brilliance. Timberland manages to conceal layer upon layer of musical interpretation without dissolving the heart of his hip hop roots. In a world that is at times rather jaded, the Timbaland lyrics continue to surprise performers and fans with musical compositions that convey the meaning of the precise moment it is played.
