If you let the girl get off the bus u are setting a precedent that any student has the choice to stop the bus and get off wherever. If no cell phones are allowed the bus driver was obligated to enforce the rule.

I TOTALLY AGREE! Well said. That girls mother needs to hire an attorney.

Are you seriously under the impression that a bus stops and lets each and every child off in front of each and every home? Also, these are high school kids and WHY does she ask the girl what she's doing on the bus and then refuse to let her off. And taking her cell phone? THEFT. Putting her hands on someone else's child (the girl did not put her hands on the adult first) ASSAULT, keeping the child on the bus against her will? KIDNAPPING. Bitch is lucky I'm not that girls mother.

She asks "why are you on the bus" and then refuses to let her off the bus? I'm a 40 year old, educated, mother of 3 non-perfect teenagers and the BITCH is lucky it wasn't my daughter she put her hands on, took her phone from, refused to get on the phone and held my daughter against her will. The school officials are obviously confused with this one and that girls mother should RAISE HELL, PRESS CHARGES AND DO WHATEVER SHE NEEDS TO DO TO GET THAT WOMAN FIRED AND CHARGED WITH ASSAULT & KIDNAPPING.

wrongful imprisonment, assault, bus driver shoulda lost her job. and spent some time in jail, at least, not to mention the massive potential for civil lawsuit.

Im sorry but the bus driver, stoped pulled over, then started an argument with her, the girl was embarrased wanted to get of, and the bus lady should have never stood in the way, because leagally you cant isolate people, or touch them, Im sorry but the bus drivers daughter should be charged , and the bus driver, shes dramatized everything, if she was a mature adult, she should of kept driving and ignored any comments made from any child, if physical violence occurs leave the bus, easy!

I don't think a bus driver is allowed to let a child get off the bus where ever she wants to! Only in front of the childs home. The bus driver would have gotten in trouble if she let her off some where else.

Good for the girl. Reject that empty formalism. |
